Step one
A place to remember
The first and most important decision to be made is your venue. This is the place you'll remember for the rest of your life. Every time you drive past it, or visit it, you'll remember your special day and the memories within it.
So take your time and visit as many as you can, until you walk in and just know, this is it.
Once you have the venue booked and secured a date.
Then it's time to reach out to your vendors!

The Stables of Somersby is located on the Central Coast, NSW. This property was featured on the hit TV show MAFS & for good reason! With onsite accomodation & plenty of room to make any dream wedding you desire come true. This venue is incredibly high on our recommended list & well worth checking out!

locking down your vendors
You've decided on your venue. You have a date locked in.
Now it's time to approach some vendors.
The immediate vendors to reach out to are your photographer, videographer, florist and celebrant.
Once you have these, and an idea of how many guests you'll be having, you can reach out to vendors such as caterers, event stylists or suppliers, DJ's or live musicians.
Don't stress, we know a tonne of amazing vendors and have them all linked here to make the process super easy for you.

So, you're through all the chaos and booked all your vendors, well done!
There's still lots left to do. Find the dress, the suit, hens, bucks etc... Lots of fun yet to be had.
For now, though, if you've covered all these bases you will have a solid foundation for your wedding going smoothly!
We highly recommend between now and the big day, though, whether you're booking us, or another incredible vendor, to meet up with them before the day and get comfortable.
This might be through an engagement shoot, a site visit, or even a simple coffee.
