the places we grew up

We are a small town couple from the Hunter Valley, Australia. With our cameras in hand, you'll see us jumping in our self-converted campervan in search of adventures. We truly love capturing the beauty around us - turning moments into keepsakes that last a lifetime.

our story.

We started as 15 year old high school sweethearts, and are now celebrating our third year of marriage.

We've both had a passion for documenting our lives via film & photo from a young age. Brayden loved creating motorbike films, and Cait was more into the theatrics. We always found ourselves asking our parents for the latest cameras for Christmas, and even studied digital arts & multi media in school.

After graduating, we bought our first home in 2014 and settled down for adult life. A year later, we adopted our first fur baby – a cuddly black & white Siberian Husky. We fell immediately in love, and soon after adopted his sister and best friend – his twin soul in red & white, Colbie.

After two years of working full-time, we soon realised that the everyday workforce was not fulfilling us. We felt a desire to start travelling the world - to indulge in new landscapes, cultures and experiences. So in 2016, we picked up a “fancy” new camera to take along with us. A Panasonic GH5 - definitely an upgrade from our GoPro & iPhone 6 at the time.

our engagement.

After ticking off Indonesia & New Zealand, we jetted off to spend Christmas in New York City, and New Years Eve in Canada.

On the 29th of December 2017, we postponed our plans to explore Banff National Park due to the -25 degree weather. Little did we know that instead, this would lead to the most magical day of our lives...

We caught a bus to Lake Louise, which was so beautiful it rendered us completely speechless (& Cait quite teary). Brayden wedged our camera into the snow, and in ice skates we trudged our way out into the middle of the lake for a “couple photo”. This was when Brayden got down on one knee, and asked Cait to marry him.

This moment will forever be in our hearts, and we are so lucky to have caught it on camera (even though it was completely in slow mo hahaha). Right after the proposal, we had a mini panic attack when the camera froze (quite literally, it had been sitting in -25 degree snow for 10 minutes). But the stars aligned, and our good ol’ GH5 came back to life.

We will keep that thing on our mantlepiece until we’re old and grey. When people ask us why we love this art, we always think back to this day.

our wedding.

On the 28th September 2019, we were married at the beautiful Tuscan inspired Redleaf Wollombi. This day was an actual fairytale, and felt like we had stepped into an Italian countryside dream. Our outdoor reception under festoon lights came to life, and we danced under the stars until the night turned cold.

Two days after this, we were off on the adventure of a lifetime – a 5 month honeymoon around the world! Ticking 12 countries off our bucket list, we experienced everything from sunrises in Cappadocia, to sunsets at the Great Pyramids of Giza. It was a trip that we will never forget.

our travels.

This brings us to present day, as we are currently releasing a film and photography series of these amazing travels (plus road tripping around Australia in our self-converted Hyundai iLoad)! Here are some other wild dreams we'd love to pursue:

  1. To back pack through South America or South East Asia.
  2. To hike to Everest Base Camp.
  3. To live abroad in the UK or Scandinavia with our fur babies.
  4. To van life around our home country of Australia.
  5. To do the Mongol Rally!

We are so excited to continue documenting this crazy thing called life, and we hope we can help capture your special moments, too!
